Zermec Pharma AG are a specialist manufacturer of High Containment Split Butterfly Valves (ZCV). They are a Swiss based company and provide custom solutions for transferring potent compounds. The ZCV system meets the requirements for the reliable and safe transfer of solids to 0.1 µg/m3, with no additional dust extraction necessary. We work with customers to define the correct solution for their containment needs. We offer standard valves ranging from DN65 – DN250. (Custom Valves on request).
Manually Operated Active Valve
This is the standard manually operated active valve. It is easy to handle and fail safe. There is no control necessary, but easy retrofitting of sensors in future if needed. The handles are for locking the Active / Passive together. The lever opens the valve to allow product transfer. (DN 50 – 250 Standard)
Passive Valve
Low weight passive valve to match the active. Easy to disassemble for cleaning and sterilisation. Seals are made from EPDM or Kalrez. (DN 50 – 250 Standard)
Pneumatic Active Valve
This valve is used for automated applications. The valve is pneumatically opened / closed. A sensor pack can be built in so it can be controlled by a PLC Driven system. (e.g – Pillar Lift or Tablet Press)
Pneumatic Active Valve
This valve is also used for automated applications. We can provide a stroke system & flexible compensator to assist the process equipment with docking. This gives you flexibility and tolerance compensation in 3 axes.
Cleaning
The ZCV can be cleaned or wetted down in many ways. We can offer spray balls / lances / WIP hoods for each application. This can help facilitate the safe removal and dismantling of the valve when dealing with potent compounds.
